Born and raised in Sarnia, Ontario, Matt has always been a student of the game. After 4 years at Brock University (CIS), culminating in BU Male Athlete of the Year honours, Matt had a small stint in the ECHL with the Toledo Walleye before playing professionally in Germany for 6 seasons. He has experience instructing hockey clinics in Canada and Germany and is eager to study all aspects of the game as it expands and grows.
